worship with us

Here you'll find a bit of information about each of our worship services.

They each might have different music and a different feel, but our goal is always the same:

to worship, to learn, and to love.

Feel free to contact us if you have questions about any of our services.

You can livestream and find videos of past Traditional and Family Worship services HERE.

Traditional Worship

Sundays, 9:30 AM

If you're looking for worship with a traditional feel, this service might be for you.  Located in our sanctuary, with its large and stunning stained glass windows, traditional worship is a bit more structured, with multiple Scripture readings, a responsive Psalm, and an opportunity to sing the classic hymns that have been sung in churches for many years.

Family Worship

Sundays, 11:00 AM

We call it family worship, but all are welcome to join us in the church basement for a service in a more relaxed atmosphere.  You'll hear contemporary worship music led by our talented praise team.  Each week includes an opportunity to discuss a question about life and faith with your family and friends.  If talking isn't your thing, maybe you'll find a connection with God through sketching, coloring, or writing with the art supplies placed on each table.

6:15@The615

2nd Sunday of the month, 6:15pm

This service is "out there" - literally!  Rather than meet at the church, we gather on the second Sunday night each month at The 615, a local music venue here in Portland - 615 N. Williams, Portland, IN 47371.  Each month we share music and readings (no sermon!) and a ritual built around a different theme.  The goal is to provide a space where all are welcome, all are included, and all are safe.  It's "church" for people who aren't a fan of church.
